in middle of repairing my damaaged audi, theres two pipes that go to a sensor thats bolted to the bulkhead, my mechanic said its the dpf sensor? anyways mine is ******* out a jet of diesel across the engine bay lol

is it a main dealer only thing?

just replaced one of those resterday cost me 50 quid from tps

oh thats not too bad then, if there a dpf pressure sensor why do they have fuel running through the pipes?

didnt think they did its my understanding that they just measure exaust gas pressure at either end of the dpf which determins the amount of soot present .Definately no fuel in the lines yesterday when i changed mine made sure i gave the pipes a check make sure they where not blocked.

pictures would help id it??

the dpf pressure sensor is mounted on a little bracket on the left hand rear of the head, not on the baulkhead. and they dont have fuel in the pipes to it either, just exhaust gasses.

they are on the bulkhead on my 170, however dickhead moment examined it again today and its spraying from a fuel pipe on the engine side over the sensor and not the other way lol, end result free fix just nip a half inch fron the pipe and rejoin
