RS4 style front grills on S3

Hello guys!
I'm a swiss guy with a S3 8L built in 2000, already restyling and with about 95'000km.

I saw from another guy here in switzerland, that he has all the under grills of the front bumper in RS4 style!
I would like to put them on mine but don't really know where to buy them or how the adapt them!

You would need to buy the RS4 style grille material from somewhere like eBay and custom make those grille inserts... personally I think they look wrong as the main grille is slatted.. if you did the main grille too (somehow) then maybe it would look better...

Yes I would like to do also the main grille!
The problem is how!
Do you think is possible to adapt the original RS4 one?

Guessing you would need to cut out the slats of an original one, use plastic filler type products to fill the gaps and adhere the grille material...

I modded a set of old (pre-facelift) A4 grilles so I could fit facelift foglights in once...

Cut the slated section out and hot glued the facelift fog covers on...

Used plastic bumper filler to blend it all in...

...then painted...

As tuffty said, you will need to do what the guy in those pictures did and get the RS4 mesh from somewhere, cut your slats out, then cut the RS4 mesh to size and fix with some kind of plastic adhesive.

Seen an s3 today with vents on front side mount intercoolers! Was noggy blue and in York whilst I was working.....

Two vertical slats each side. Looked oem though! I think it looked wicked anyone know of it?

Well I also thought increase in airflow to intercoolers????.......... Yeh I only like the front bumper mod part

I think the RS4 vents look awesome on an S3, just a shame most of the kits about are pants. That one does look quite good tho, anyone know what kit it is? or is it a custom fab job?

i love this!!! well except for the wheels. did mention doing this to my brother (he does all my work) and he just told me no because it looks chavvy!

I have to say that this is the only s3 other than my own that I have eyes for. It represented an ideal vision of what an old car can look like with tlc.

You can buy the vents but they require bumper cuts etc...and adhesive...Then respray. Not cheap and risky if you make a mess.

Yehyeh bit risky, I would suggest buy a secondhand bumper and put it in that, needs spraying anyway so least you don't ruin your own then.

And now I dnt think it looks chavvy I like it.

same i like it the bumper only though chrome doesnt go on S3's ...
