So I have had my a4 for a while now, and since I bought it the wiper blades have been LOUD when dry or not fully wetted up, quite embarrassing when I had passengers in the car, I kept telling my self I need to get them sorted, but kept forgetting!!
so last week all of a sudden they packed up and hardly cleared the screen!!!
I am off to Manchester airport tomorrow for my hols do thought I best get em sorted incase it's p'in down on route!!
bought some cheap crappy ones off eBay that didnt even fit, thankfully they fitted my dads jeep so saved me retuning them for the sale of a 5er!
Popped down halfords today and with my trade card they were £20 a pair!!!!
So got home and fitted them, (piece of ****!) 10 seconds! Tested them out whilst dry and with a little skwirt! And they are silent as one hand clapping!!

WELL HAPPY!! Best £20 I have spend on my car lol.
No more noisy wipers!!

Were they halfords own? I got some and they didn't last too long. But then upgraded to aero wipers and got bosch ones and I had to take them back they were so bad.

If you're anything like me. New wipers on a car makes it feel like a new car.

lol new car is exactly how i described it lol,
ye, halfords own, fingers crossed they last then lol how long did yours last you

i spent £34 quid on gen audi ones yesterday as mine was from gsf last year and they was crap from the start... very noisey indeed but gotta say so far these are very quite

I bought some Bosch aero wipers from halfords had them on for around 2 months now, they are excellent!

Also I must recomend rainX when I first put it on I was driving down the motorway in heavy rain and I probably would have been able to dive with the wipers off ! :).

I fitted Aero ones to my S3 a few months back and they were possibly the worst decision I made. The shape of the bracket was so un-aerodynamic that the turbulence of the wiper arm sweeping back always caused a line of droplets in an arc right along the centreline of the drivers side. Royal PITA. So far though the aero ones on my A4 are fine.

I would have thought the Bosch ones would be down to around £20 on the 'Frauds Trade Card. Lost count of the money I've saved with that little beauty!

Lol I forgot to ask what other makes were available tbh, I'll just take em back if not and swap em for Bosch!
