I bought an Audi on 29.09.2010r. That car been bought just to fix and sell but I've decided to keep it.
She comes on a platform bcoz as I said engine was nacked.

As you see a lot of work been done but still plenty left, especially when new engine comes, lol...

Looks very nice but it's still a 1.6, did you consider buying an S3 as I'd imagine it would have been less expenssive and be the real deal. 10/10 for the results though

I want to do quite a few of these bits, the cluster, the key,the spoiler also could you link me to these cheers

Good effort fella but as above, would it not have been as cheap to Px against an 18tqs/ S3.

Interested in how you did the key swap over. Any chance of guid...... Heads for search box ;)

how did you get about swaping the dials over? they work straight away?

Is your Insurance too much for a 1.8T / S3?

No m8 Just never tried to buy. I.m paying for this one 400 pound.

Thanks m8. I know it's still a 1.6 but soon it will change. I never was thinking to buy S3, however I like it. But there would be no joy to play with it. All what you can do only in S3 is the power and good alloys. S3 don't need anything to change, but unfortunatelly I like do something.

Thanks, It might be. One electrican fella made new shape circuit board and just solder everything on it from the old key. But unfortunatelly by my mistake I dropped that key and board been smashed.:crying:

After new programming and swaping some pins in the sockets they works straight away,..:):icon_thumright:

Im with him. I think the s3 is beautiful standard, if i owned one all i would do is go for power and handling.

Looks good mate! Nice to see you haven't put S3 badges on it like some would

Its gone long time since I've post last thread. but I've been away.

Anyway I come across with stupid idea to fit Aircon system to my car. Originally I had standard heater but not any more. lol.

It took me 4 hours to strip a car:

Then a short break for a lager and fitting everything back on:

Of course there was some unexpected things such as no hole for a aircon pipes:

I've spent also a few hours with a diagrams but finally got it done:

Plan is finish with 85% only as I've got Saturday and Sunday off over the week.

What is left that wire up Compressor and fan. lol

My car is 98 pre lift but I have a full Facelift interior. So I've decided to put Audi A4 air con panel in without changing any wires.

One lad done it for me. He created a new circuit board and solder everything on it. but unfortunately the fob doesn't work anymore as I dropped it by mistake. :sob:

Serious dedication installing AC!! Looks great on the RSTTs are they 18s?

Lots of work gone into this, impressive!

the front needs to come down a bit to match the rear

I know DANE it's only been lifted for work to be done with A/C. It will be lowered on Friday.

BTW. Only re-gassing left and the A/C project will come to end.:)
