Evening Dudes,

my sister has a renault clio when currently has an issue starting...

i presume its the immobiliser. i have replaced the crackshaft sensor and that didnt work.
the engine is turning just not firing up.

is there a know fix or a way to bypass the immoboliser?

im going to try my obd software to see if i can reset it but it seems to be a faff.

thanks for the posts in advance.

The ecu cover on the 1.2 petrols can sometimes rub through the harness, coil packs are prone aswell also check the battery eart cable.

Any fault codes stored ??

there is a company that do a bypass kit that plugs into the obd socket
sorry cant remember their name

There is free software you can download for the 4 digit pin code. I have it stored on my other laptop, i will have a look for you.

take it the LED is flashing when you turn the ignition on?

try a spare key as they can break inside
