Wiper clunking...

I bought a brand new pair of Bosch Aeros to go on my car. Although they clean the windscreen brilliant. When they change direction. They clunk as the blade flips.

Anyone else get this?

Mine make a noise as if hitting the edge of the windscreen
Going to see if i can re position them before buying new ones

What are the best type to buy/fit?

Mine too, silent while moving but clunk when they change direction.

The little black bit on the stalk that the wiper blade attaches to (it's like a tiny black cube) It's meant to swivel 360 degrees freely. My wipers were doing my head in recently and it turned out to be that - all gunky and rigid. Cleaned and all is fine.
May not be your problem, but worth a check!

Just looked at mine and the end swivel bits. Didn't make any difference, they stil clunk when changing direction. Just one of those things I'm guessing.

Had a good look at mine. They're smearing REALLY badly too. Utter crap for brand new Bosch wipers.

Oh well, worth a try. quattrojames suggested to me last week to try claying the windscreen and wiping the blades with some white spirit or similar.
