A Newbie with a Vauxhall I hear you say?

Yes thats right guys a ****** vauxhall lol!

However, I'm on here to try and search for my partner as she wants an S3 Replica and just looking out for some advice on tips on where i can find some. Seen some on ebay and other places, just want some owners advice really, as I know it can be helpful as its how I researched my Astra before i bought it.

So any help and tips going towards my partners S3 rep would be much appreciated.

I am an avid member on VXRonline.co.uk and own a 2008 Astra VXR Nurburgring Edition so won't be looking for any cars myself as I'm over the moon with that. Also my dad has the new S4 and have to say thats incredible aswell! Will Pop some pictures up now

Not really, all the replicas I see are usually on eBay, but once in a while you may get one come up on the forums or on Pistonheads.

Saw a car just like yours driving through Newbury town centre today, saw the little ring stickers on the door pillars and them realised it was the special edition. How does she drive against STD VXR?

It's exactly the same as the STD Astra VXR bar a slight different Turbo and exhaust mani due to the full remus system. They tend to run around 260 270 standard power though with just a panel filter after a good service and running good!

TBH i wouldn't swap it for any hatch at the moment, turns so many heads and is rare as anything! And i must say the noise is totally unreal.

Hiya Ben, there's plenty of bad ones about for sho, what's Yr price limit? That will make a big diff. Obviously you like Yr motors dude (nice by the way) you could pick up a 53/54 plate tdi sline and do most of work yourself to keep the cost down a get a good build with buckets :thumbsup:

Hi Ben my mates got the VXR Nring edition and just had it mapped and ruined it.....torque steer is huge and ****** dangerous, hes taking his back to standard, they do look awesome though i cant deny that....for a vauxhall....

cheers buddy, were looking down that route now tbh! were now looking for a well specced s sline with bose and leather for maybe 9k ish! could be dreaming with that budget mind!
