hang on a minute... you'd rather watch a bunch of fannys falling over than Rugby...

Watch a game of Rugby and then watch a game of football straight after and football just seems to dishonest and unsporting, not in an athletic way but in a conduct way.

all of course imo

Football is just more exciting than rugby

personal preference I guess... ;)

Well put, i do enjoy rugby as there is no play acting injured involved, leg muscles are a bnus, mmmm. I am sure there are a lot of very
talented, (overpaid) individual footballplayers, but im just not that interested in the game.

I watch a lot of football and I have to agree with you Dane. Whenever I watch a game of Rugby there is so much respect for the officials that you dont see in football and some of the players continue playing with broken bones!

I played Saturday and Sunday league football for many years so I also know what it's like to be tackled and I can assure you the leagues I played in were a lot rougher than the Premier league where these players roll around on the floor like they've been smashed! I'd love to stick the likes of Ronaldo and some of the other diving pansies into a Sunday league game, they wouldn't be able to cope.

Fair point I only ever see Premier League etc. games on the TV and I can understand what you mean, I played a lot of club rugby and sweet baby jesus is it dirty, the older blokes are just used to a completely different game where a lot more used to be acceptable.

Football is a bunch of man hugging gays with no manors, no honour, very little sportsmanship that prance around a field getting paid loads of money for acting like a bunch of jack asses and drama queens.

Thats my view of football any way. :)

Morning Scott, thats pretty much the same as the way I see football as well.

God damn it's my second day of work, I must do some...

What are you doing at your new job?
Apart from nothing.

i'm working for a property developer, so currently I'm working on a snagging list for a new build. nice and chilled for now.

Good morning fellow pub goers. How are we all on this fine day?

It's 28 degrees and sunny here in Gloucester..... I likey.

Shame I'm stuck inside...

Gloucestershire term I think, or maybe southern?

Means a list of stuff that needs sorting.

Not dissimilar to a to do list I guess.

I didnt realise it was regional but yeah, nail on head

I would have put it down to something rubbing/touching, faults, fixes and bits generally not working, all depending on the use of the word but not a to do list.
Its a gloucestershire thing. :)

I just got a text from my friend, sending me a link to his new online sex toy shop :lmfao:

Morning welly, its been interesting discussions in pub earlier, property, sport, etc. Just like a real pub. Sorry you stuck inside when the
weather is nice, I dont like that either, but unavoidable sometimes. Its nearly lunchtime so you can look forward to going outside then for
an hour or so.

Interesting development

The ASBO brakes that i've got for the Mondeo use the same calipers as a Vectra VXR which uses 345mm discs instead of 320mm on the ASBO.....

Trying to source some Veccy VXR carriers to see if they're the same as well

Smudge, I dont follow football, so particular teams mean nothing to me. I watch rally cars, F1, british/world superbikes, Moto gp and
rugby.
Remember only half the F1 season next year :banghead:

Morning all been busy venting my anger towards the BBC and FOM so not dropped in for a couple of days.

Currently taking advantage of the low interest rate to pay ours off as quick as possible. Nice to own yours outright Sandra

Paul

Paul it is nice to own outright, takes away a lot of financial pressure. When we took our mortgage out interest was at 14%, it was a lot of what we earned at the time, but worth all the sacrifices we had to make along the way. You should get the F1 app for your phone or ipad
Its really good and should still be available through the app. Its available for all different platforms and as far as I remember it was free.

Westy are you admitting to not satisfying your woman???

ps I'm well excited about AITP now!

Me too, just annoyed I will be late....

The Mrs isn't coming now either.

Still, that means I can get my shoe down on the way...

That a euphomism?

Just got a meeting in Brighton this afternoon, lovely hour cruise down the M23 in the gorgeous sunshine, have the meeting then probably hang around brighton for a bit :)
