A3 1.9tdi with a miltek????

Yo, i need some help. Ive got a a3 1.9tdi on a 07 iv modded it with a bodykit an all but it hasnt got that noise am lookin for.
Id love to gt a s3 with a miltek but unfortunatly a 19 year old cant gt insured on a s3 in bradford...

But i was wondering of geting a miltek for my diesal.
Has any1 heard a diesal with a miltek nd does it sound aryt?
Iv been told that it would sound daft As my engine is a litle loud but cannot decide weather to gt it done or not...

Advice and sugestions would be awesome

have a straight through pipe made from the cat ( remove the cat ) it sounds pretty nice even on a 1.9 and is way cheaper then a milltec.
 
As zedzo said plus you'll have the added benefit of hearing your turbo spooling up and down, so it's a win-win. Also much cheaper than a Milltek ;)
 
ive got a ful miltek on mine and it makes a noticable differance to the car but is only a little noisy than standard but was best £500 spent
 
But wouldnt removing the cat fail mot?
And any sugestions were i could gt this done from?

Also tdi man is yours a diesal with a loud engine?
 
Decat on a TDI will not fail an MOT.

MOT's test for smoke on a TDI and not emissions.

Anyone know roughly how much it would cost to do this?

its a custom exhaust that starts at the end of the turbo right to the back of the car , not sure what a tdi sounds like with a aftermarket exhaust do they sound good
 
Dats wat i want to know.
Iv heard a 2.0tdi without a backbox basically a straight pipe to da back. It sounds pretty good especialy with the litle noise of the blow valve...
But i cant decide.
Dont want the car to look/sound daft coz it a diesal with a loud engine and a loud exhaust...

But shoud i gt it custom made from the front to te bak or just the back?
 
make it from where every you want to the end :D
