I love this combo you have going on, orange colour, tints, buckets and s5 alloys. very, very nice :jump:
 
i like it , what size are the wheels and tyres ?

Not sure what the offset is but the shop did say they are listed for the S3 so assuming they are within spec for the car also they do not stick out past the bodywork and they do look in proportion,i have had a tad of rubbing on really poor road surfaces or nasty bumps when i have people in the back,took it back and the only point that they could see them just rubbing on was the rear bumper securing screws - so they put some rubber stops within the rear springs to reduce the amount of travel and everything is now spot on :icon_thumright:

Lowering springs and Lamin-X would finish this off a treat! Nice job.
 
looks mint m8 the wheels really go with the paint :thumbsup:
 
Dont know wether to lower it or not,sometimes it "cheapens" the look of cars and makes them look a tad "Max powerish" plus if the wheels are rubbing now surely i'd have more problems ? Where do i get the Lamin-X from and how much is it ?

Discount code I think was 10off (?) or something like. Takes about a week to come from US, but is pre-cut for lights and fogs unlike the stuff from UK which is not cut for you.

My car runs OEM dampers and looks just a touch high at the front with 19's. Talking dropping it 20mm, certainly not to the tarmac.
 
if you lower it you will need 225/35/19 tyres to replace your 235 s
 
I like the way the wheels match the mirrors nicely. Dont go black, its so played out these days!

Get the Eibach springs, very popular mod for the S3 as they only lower 20mm so it looks perfect without messing it up. Especially since with 235 tyres on your 19s, you have effectively highered it up from standard!

Thought i'd just pop this thread back up for Peachy (Lauryn) as she is interested on putting S5 alloys on her Solar S3 - hope this helps you out !

I've said it before (and stole it from Chip Foose); the best mods are the ones that look like they could have come from the factory, ones most people wouldn't even notice until they were pointed out.

Those S5s look spot on with the colour, very nice choice.

Looks Stunning Dude.... Agree that black is getting a little too common these days.... and chrome number plate surround must go IMO.

I have these on my S8 and constatnly getting positive comments....

BTW that colour Rocks....way better than the Tangerine ST.
