I would be checking the Bearings....or haldex oil?
When was the car last tracked ? Any spacers ? Have you checked that the studs are all tight
Whirring or whining? Could be rear transmission on its way out?
best part of a hundred quid for 4-wheel aligningnot sure when the tracking was done (any ideas how much?)
I paid ~£50 for a rear bearing to be done, only to find out afterwards that it didn't cure it because it was a dodgy tyre. As I mentioned try switching tyres before paying to have the bearing changed. I could of sworn my dodgy tyre was a bearing failure but it wasn't.
Is it a new thing or have you just bought the car that's making the noise?
