Awwww.. you've got a pencil case. Ain't that sweet!!

Funny you should mention colleagues thinking you're weird for taking photos of the office.... I thought exactly the same thing so when I took mine I turned the shutter sound off so people would just think I was looking at my phone. Took a few photos and noticed a couple of people looking at me but didn't think anything of it.

THEN I REALISED I HAD LEFT THE FLASH ON!!!!! :faint:

hahahah! That's brilliant!

And yes, I have a pencil case, but I have to...i'm still a student :) It's like having an overdraft...it's a requirement.

Heres one for you techys:

My External Hard Drive failed on me when I was trying to install something from it on my XP Virtual Machine that I've got installed on my Windows 7 OS.

After I tried that I was unable to access anything on it, found it it has moved over from NTFS format to RAW?? Anyways, the files on there aren't that important so I can live with the reformat,

When I plug it in to access it, it brings up the usual 'This drive must be formatted to use'... but it wont format...

Ive tried using cmd: "format g:", but that wont budge past 0%..

Hard Drive dead?

And moving away from the actual office, this afternoon I've got to tidy up my server room. NOT looking forward to it AT ALL!!!
Been putting it off for months but now it's getting hard to open the door to the room!

Can you see the drive in Disk Management?? If you can then tryt formatting from there.

If not, run check disc on the drive. (CHKDSK)

They aren't servers - LOL

Just big PC sat on their sides - anyone knows that servers have those screw things on the edge so that they don't fall out.

:p

Eagle eye!! :lmfao:

Ok ok... the top two aren't servers... just cheapo Dell machines with server OS's on them... one's a BES the other is for our phone system.
BUT the bottom upright one is most def a server. I hope!

On the subject of Electric Shavers, I got a neat bit of kit for Christmas.

I suffer a lot from razor burn - I've tried every type of routine but still suffer.

Luckily I only nead to be clean shaven when I visit clients and can run with stubble at home and in the office. Only go on site once or twice a month.

So I now have an I-Stubble, it allows me to maintain a nice neat .4mm stubble all the time and only wet shave if going on-site.

Much better for my skin.

Paul

I like the idea of this I-Stubble, but i wonder how it got its name?

Does using an I in front of things automatically make things sell these days!

I have to shave once a week :p

So instead of shaving who has been brave enough to go for waxing! the old back sack and crack!!

Sounds very painful!

You lot shave your nuts?
That's gotta itch like a b**** when the regrowth kicks in.
Not like that at all, i never itch, dont know why. its not like its dense hair or anythin, well, my balls arnt lol.

ive done it, never EVER again. took skin off my sack, stung for a week at least. **** me it hurt.

****** hell are we men - men are supposed to have hair - including your balls and **** - LOL

Shaving my balls is a big no no for me. I don't like metal things going anywhere near them.
I think it stems from the time I decided to take a short cut from the back of my school science lab to the front. I would run and jump onto the science benches/desk and slide across them. Got to the last one, slid across it, and caught my knackers on a bunsen burner gas tap.

I have a problem with hair... at a young age i was very hairy sometime in senior school, yeah i should have to shave every day but trim once a week, having hair on the palm of your hands and having to groom every time you go to the toilet.....

I left work at 11:30 cause I was bored, so missed out on the office space pics.
I'll try and get some on monday, its not that interesting really.
two desks in a L Shape on the left, 6ish desks on the right on the wall as our build/test bench, 4 chairs together to make a sofa, coffee table, and 2 windows. Very clean and tidy, Unlike our 6 server rooms and 10 switch rooms.
To save money on routing the network cables correctly they moved the switch cab and server cab next to each over so they can run network cables out the back of the server cab and in to the front of the switch cab. Its like a fecking spider web trying to patch any thing in.

As for shaving, its ok after some after shave balm. No itchiness and it gives the misses something to do.

I'm ridiculously bored right now. I'm gonna go and buy some tools.

I know that feeling, sat at my desk doing nothing for the last coupel of hours.Still only 30mins to go, then i get to go to school for parents evening!!

Welly, I almost forgot.
Galaxy S II.
Its ok, just reminds me of the Galaxy S I.
Its thinner but I feel its to thin really. I did not find it comfortable to hole when playing a game or using. All ways felt like it was about to fall out of my hand.
It could do with being a bit thicker to get a better, bigger battery.
Its quick, really quick but I can't work out if its ginger bread or the dual core CPU. either way its very quick.
The screen is stunning. Its better than my LCD at home. I think the screen wipes the floor with any thing else i've seen, My desire HD, Iphone4 (Getting one of them in work next week, I'll see I can compare the screens.) or the Galaxy S I (expect really).

I don't think I'd be rushing out to the shops to pick one up. It is very good but I don't think we will fully benefit from dual core phones just yet. Need some more apps and games to come out. Also want to see what the current 1ghz single core phones are like on Gingerbread.

In short, if your an android fan and this phone is a free upgrade option I'd take it but can't see the benefit over the original Galaxy S or other high spec android phones just yet.

Bad luck guys. :)
I've been home for 2 hours. lol

Did some shopping, replaced the CV boot, had lunch with the women, cleaned my door hinges, conditioned the leather and did some washing up. :D
I love fridays but I got nothing to do tomorrow now. I've done it all. :(
