they set your car right off! bet you keep getting out for a look! from the photo they look good without the center caps! are you fitting them or getting small audi ones for the center?

cheers, i've got the large centres that cover the wheel bolts, still looking for the B caps

Sorry mate, to me your car looks like its had a chav treatment. Maybe its just me but I dont like that look of lowered cars.

Lol, fair doo's mate, that's your opinion, Dunno what the chav's drive near you?

Works a treat ! Maybe you should get centre cap stickers made up with B6 in same font as the B would be!!! Kidding ! I think they look fantastic, look like they grew there!

Chav's round my way drive bright coloured jap or french motors with ill fitting bodykits and you can fit your head in their arch gap? ;)

Sorry mate, to me your car looks like its had a chav treatment. Maybe its just me bit I dont like that look of lowered cars.

The difference of opinions and attitudes is what makes our passion for cars so enjoyable! I have to say that's a but harsh what you said, but I do agree, that (for me at least) the car is too low, but I'm happy to accept I'm in the minority there! I'm not sure Bentley wheels have found their way into the Chav market yet though!

Guys, as I said, that's your opinions, everyones got one, it'd be pretty crap if everyone liked anddone the same thing!

I'll be the first to admit that silly low cars and different branded wheels arent to everyones taste, but I am and I think it's awesome ;) all that really matters to me

Still don't understand the chav bit though?

Nah nor me, but each to their own ;)

It's certainly not what the chavs drive around this way!

I've been reading this thread with interest partly because my own car is the same colour, and has the same wheels, as the car you originally collected from Norwich, albeit the saloon version.

I also thought it was quite cool that, being from Norwich, it had the AU (Audi) registration number but can understand why you wanted to change it if you already had a more personalised plate.

I must confess that I didn't think the 'Fat 5s' did the car any favours at all but each to their own and you can obviously do whatever you want to your own car.

However the Bentley wheels certainly look very striking and the colour and wheel design seems to work well with the colour and style of your A4.

But the thing I can't get my head around is why you want to finish it off by putting the Bentley wheel centres on as it just seems wrong - it's an Audi. If you could adapt them to have the Audi rings I think you would succeed in creating a really unique look worthy of the considerable effort and expense you have clearly put into this project.

If you saw a Ford Fiesta fitted with large, by Fiesta standards, Audi A4 wheels and the four rings I reckon many people would think it looked out of place and pretending to be something that it wasn't? That may have been the sentiment behind the 'chav' comment. I would agree that Bentley isn't a brand you would immediately associate with chavs but they probably said that about Burberry at one time! I think it also depends on your definition of chav which in some quarters has now also come to be associated with bling and flash cash.

I reckon you would hit the jackpot if you could find a stylish way of incorporating the four rings into the centres of undeniably striking wheels.

Ajb - I understand what your saying, I've had many different cars with different brand wheels on them, Porsche wheels on mk1s and mk2 golfs, audi rs4, rs6, a8 wheels on my old mk4s. Even an old set of fat 5s on my old golf 4motion, every time, I've ran the centre caps of the wheels rather than the make of the car, I just personally think that's the best way to do it,

God, even ran Renault Clio rims on my old mk2 oak green 16v! (turbine wheels so didn't have the Renault badge on them though :) )

Love it, not chav at all, what chav could afford Bentley rims.

Stance is great on the Bentleys.

So I'm a Chav cause my car is lowered on bentley wheels?

Mate its not chav in the slightest, gorgeous looking car.

Us car enthusiasts will always be tared with the same brush. I have been into car's and car moding from a young age after watching my father and brother mess about with there car's. If your car has bigger wheels, exhaust system, and lowered you will be branded as a Boy Racer/Chav.

Our efforts are only apritated by other like minded car enthusiast on forums like this one and at car shows / events. I'm a 39 years & 11 month old Boy Racer/ Chav scum bag, according to most people.

No, think the 'Chav' comment may or been taken out of context..very nice car, nice wheels..just the lowered look that dont float me boat..but that just one opinion! :)

Each to there own mate, do like the front lights and grill tho.

Well I like it matey, will be even better with air ride! Wheels need centre caps sorting quick though if you ask me!

Are the B's hard to find then or do they just cost mega bucks from the stealers?

cheers for the comments guys,

QuottroA4 - Lights & Grill are standard items?

Dubdemand - the B badges are about 100 quid new i'm sure, i'm working on getting something sharpish

Lol, what 19s and standard suspension? It'd be like a ****** monster truck James!

Wow! Looks so much better lowered with decent wheels... also prefer it with the chrome window surrounds (which I know most people try to lose). Very nice matey!

Same here, just goes to show chrome trims are the nuts, just need to get mine gleaming again....somehow......

Yeah, I've thought about painting/wrapping the chrome before but I think it works really well with the colour of the car, ties in with the wheels and mirrors too I think

Could maybe paint them silver the same, rather than the chrome?

Silver would be nice and easy to keep clean without risk of dulling but I think Chrome Powder coating or aerosol may be the answer to a beautiful chrome effect without the water getting in and turning things nasty all over again like on the Audi trims.

This company Aerocoat in Norfolk do a great job of chrome powder coat but they have also put a great chrome product in a can, not sure if any money would be saved over buying new trims if you used them for powder coating but sure the aerosol option would be cheaper, how much are new trims from Audi anyway?

can i just say this looks to me a fine example of an a4 regardless of if you do or do not like the ride height. The chrome fits the wheels and mirrors just perfectly. You dont plan on spraying all this black do you it will spoil it as it goes with the blue mint. massive thumbs up :hubbahubba:

Thanks, as above, I think the window trim ties in really well with the rest of the car so gonna keep it as is.

I'm actually thinking about adding some silver to the rear bumper valance rather than the black vinyl, anyone fancy doing a photoshop as its going for paint at the weekend ?
