This morning when parking up I put the handbrake on, but accidentally left the car in 'D' and took my foot off of the brake pedal.
After a couple of seconds I felt the car lifting and heard the handbrake creaking, so quickly put it in 'P'.
Just wondering, what would happen if for example I had gotten out of the car and didn't notice it was still in 'D'??
If the handbrake is on hard enough I'm hoping the engine would stall.
Anybody seen what actually happens??
