ICE Silver Black Edition - Are they out there??

My pride and joy is an Ice Silver Sportback Black Edition which I have had for 5 months now, I couldn't be happier and think it looks amazing, still scratching my head though as to why I seem to be the only one to have chosen this model/colour. In the 5 months of owning and the many months of waiting before that I have not seen any others on the road (have seen 1 for sale on tinterweb).

Anyone here own one too or is it just me??

The Black Edition was only avaliable in Monza Silver, and not Ice Silver though I think you can now order a Black Edition in any colour. What year is yours? I assume it is a Black Edition and not a S-Line with the Black Grill option...

Its a 10 plate BE, in Ice Silver. They stopped producing the BE in Monza and now only do them in the standard Black, Red, Ibis, Phantom (Pearl Effect) and Ice Silver (metallic).

I think it looks amazing, maybe everyone is just hooked on Ibis for the BE??

We have a 10 plate non BE S-Line in Ice Silver which looks nice. To be honest you don't see that many Ice Silver models on the road. They are generally Black, Blue and White...

i think there is too many boring colours on the roads like black and standard silver there needs to be more different colours like ice silver , red , and white but white is getting more and more popular now , for ages all we had in work was black or sliver cars it was so boring lol

Ive got an Ice silver BE absolutely love it! my brothers just about to get his sportback BE in white which looks nice but every BE i see seems to be White or black so its nice to have silver which for once seems to be the rare colour!!!!

havent seen another yet! which is nice but makes you think are they that understated maybe i just dont notice them!

The one thing about the car i would love is a badge on the grill as i think it looks a bit bare and also wouldnt mind double exhaust because ive got a 2.0 140 with one. Plenty of times ive had cars move over for me and im sure they must think im an S3 with DLR and i whizz passed with a single exhaust the same as the 1.6 TDI. But im not that bothered that Id go to the hassle of changing it.

Do you think you spot the difference between the silvers if you passed one quickly coming the other way? I know I couldnt!

Silvers all look the same to me, unless its akoya like mine which is obviously more purple/blue

Yes, i meant if one was monza silver or ice silver, you would have to look twice!

and to be honest, the DRL's on the A3 are not that special when being followed, they dont look anywhere near as nice as the A4's. (The new A4's are common as muck now too)

The black grill doesnt stand out till your quite close and for some strange reason quite a few people ive seen driving havent even had the DRL's on!!
