Ordered my now A3 SB Black Edition 170ps S-Tronic, Ibis White, Open Sky, Full Leather, Light & Rain Package, Interior Light Package and Folding Mirrors on 5th August, and was told expected delivery 2nd week November but not holdling too much hope after reading this forum...
hi bud i got my black edition last year in ibis white i went for the 170 version and its a dream to drive
i had the interior light pack and cruise control as options as well as full leather
i have just had my black front rings and rear rings delivered and had 19" bbs lm fitted and it look very nice indeed.
i only have mine for a year as i bought it tax free and the s3 is ont he cards for feb next year.

Richy_C - Where did you get your rings from? I'm going for the black and white theme when mine eventually shows, changing the mirrors to gloss black, fitting some BBS Black Editions (Hopefully if the funds allow it) and was thinking about the rings?

Are delivery dates getting worse...I've now been told to expect delivery April 2011 (Ordered May 2010 !!)
They might be getting slightly worse. But my wait will be 10 months. I think you're just getting unlucky like me

I'm starting to panic now, I don't want it running into January to prevent the extra cost of the VAT increase!
Picked up my S3 this morning and I love it, think it was the first MY11 S3 SB BE the dealer has had in.
Got a lot of reading and working out what all the buttons do as it is completely different to my old car but its all good. Haven't had a chance to 'open her up' yet as I want to take the first 1k miles easy but it won't take very long!!
Will get some pics sorted when it stops peeing it down!

OH no feel for you man having to wait that long these times are becoming a joke, well I have been waiting since march and have been confirmed build week 34 so shouldn't be that long now I dare say.

Meant to ask this before and it is pretty sad but does anyone on here drive down the M1 past j25 then onto the M42 every morning? i pass a white be sb every day.

I tried out the Merc C class, nice looking car but thought the drive was very boring. Interior also a bit bland.
Thought about a 3 series M sport too, but still prefer the A3 SB BE - jusy have to stick and wait it out...
We also looked at the BMW M Sport 2.0d but found the interior to be bland too, like i said previously just stick it out as it will be worth the wait.

Ive got that exact car now but petrol, the audi gives you more felling and power. BMW is well put together but you cant toss it about.
I work in an Audi dealer and I have my black edition on order since middle of may. I have been told end of november. Apparently delays have been due to the new wheels.

Thanks mate, yeah I had been looking at loads of pics on here to get an idea of what the car will look like and then it is weird seeing it in the flesh and thinking, that's mine! It is worth the wait tho, you will love it.
Will try and get some interior ones next week, off to Wiltshire today so a good 4 hours plus drive each way!!
I was looking at the C350CDi or 330D but really wanted the quattro and was cheaper. My Dad has the C180k, you can just see it behind my first pic above! It is a very nice car and with the Sat Nav and sport pack the interior and exterior is quite nice but yes I agree it is a bit boring to drive.
Not sure mate, I ordered around 2nd week of May and picked it up on Thursday so just over 3 months and I have S3 SB BE with Tech pack, Comfort pack, Interior light pack, Adapative lights, folding mirrors, no smoking pack and tpm.
I mentioned to the dealer about people having to wait a stupidly long time and he said the order system going down was a problem and apparently Audi has gone mad in of other countries, USA, China etc. and UK orders have also gone through the roof and they just can't cope with production!?!
