Hi all,

From cold i seem to get a slight rattle when i first fire it up. As soon as the oil gets to the top its sound.

Is this something to worrie about?? theres no other adverse effects from it.

Any comments would be great

im not gonna change it for the sake of it. if the engine can put up with it, then so can i lol. would mainly like to know if its anything to worrie about. judging by no replys, no one has the answer lol!

The 2.0t is a noisy engine any way i wouldnt be overly worried so long as noise goes away once warmed up.

Thanks marrow, it stops as soon as the oil reaches the cams. Thanks for you help.
