The car has the rubber boot liner along with rubber mats front & rear. Not the best looking additions for a car but essential for work.

The 'cat' is 'er in doors. A cool cat, often p!ssed with a liking for rubber...(and I don't mean Marigolds or love-gloves before someone chimes in)!!

No it was the previous generation of Mx5, yes the mx5 is more practical but the mr2 is way much more fun. Not had a chance to drive the new mx5 yet but it does look nice although it has been geting some mixed reports in the press and media...

If the mr2 you drove was new then you need to get a few miles on them, wind them up and they fly but they do need to be rev'd. Handling and brake wise the mr2 wins hands down. Value for money I still think the mr2 has the mazda licked.

No,but,then again,neither is me hating DSG or stating,in another thread,that I wouldn't buy an Audi if it was my own money.

Calm down bowfer. You are on an Audi forum and you are in the minority with disliking DSG, that's all !.

You pays your money ( well some of us do ) you makes your choice. I've had a ford fungus and french hot hatches and they were fun, but i'm an engineer and appreciate the quality of engineering in Audi's.

Having dissenting voices is always fun.

Besides bowfer baiting is a forum pasttime, whereas bowfer probably sees it as forum baiting!

I'll vouch for bowfer, he's not a bad person and certainly adds flavour to the A-S forum /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
