Hi there guys, recently purchased an Audi A3 Sportback, 2.0L TDI DSG, so far so good! Not looking at doing much, maybe a remap to get a bit more power and MPG, other than that it's going to be a family wagon...

On the lookout for a cloth arm rest...

Thanks for looking.

Congrats on your new purchase. You will not be disappointed. Theres a wealth of knowledge on here so ask away if any probs. The 2.0TDI engine responds well to a remap. Lots of threads on here about advice and ones to go for. ATB

Sweet looking A3, Dude. As Brodster says, these engines respond very well to remaps and you won't regret having it done! xx

Thanks for the comments, definitely a lot of information on this site! signed up to look around before I purchased the car.

Does anyone know of any reputable Audi garages/specialists in the South East of England? preferably in and around London? Nothing wrong with the car, but just in case I need any advice or need to take it anywhere one day.

Russell Automotive Centre in NW London are a very good independent Audi specialist.
AMD Essex in Lakeside, Thurrock for all your modding needs.

Ahh thanks Ads, I have heard of Russell Automotive Centre. Will check them out as they are not too far away.

 Just noticed your username, makes sense that they're not too far from you now.

They use original audi parts only and have managed to diagnose problems in the past for me that Audi couldn't. I'd recommend them. Russell Automotive Centre - London's Leading Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda & Bentley Specialist

lol

much appreciated.

I noticed you have 'Bluefin' in your sig, does this refer to the Bluefin superchip? I was looking at the following options for a remap:

Bluefin
Sharky
Revo @ the AMD Essex you recommended

any guidance as to which to go for?

Yep, mine has been remapped by Superchips/bluefin.

To be honest, I can only really speak of my experiences with bluefin and so far it is very positive. Its a different car now, and is significantly quicker.
Mine is a 2.0 TFSI though and i'm not sure how much bluefin improves a TDI. They do offer a 7 day full trial though, and if you don't like the remap you just switch your car back to standard and they will give you a full refund, so basically its a no risk buy.
