Can anyone tell me what oil I have to use in a Audi A3 1.9TDI Sport?

Am i right in assuming its 5w 30?


Im hoping to service the car tommorow, change the oil, air and fuel filter. and change the oil.


Once i have drained the oil? how much do i roughly need?

on my 2.0 tdi service book says approx 3.8 litres

cheerz bud, i was thinking it would be around 3-4 litres at least.

5w 30 correct?

in my 1.6fsi i used just under 4 litres of oil too i think that 5w 30 is right but i would ask somewhere like a motor factor or i think it might even be in the owners manual but dont quote me on that

if it is Asda are doing a deal on Castrol Magnatec. 4L is less than £20 if that's what you were after. 4L of Castrol EDGE was £30
