I bought an A3 1.8T AGU that is suppose to have REVO stage one remap, but i can't be sure. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to determine that the REVO is there?

I did a vagcom log on block 002 and the highest maf reading is 135 at 6300rpm. Looks a bit low for remap car? Could it be a boost leak or just running on stock with no REVO?

Take to a local REVO dealer and get them to look. Then can probably use an SPS switch to test.

I had a similar issue to you with my REVO stage 1 ECU being down on power. Turned out to be the MAF. Interestingly it didn't put any VAG fault codes up - it was just screwed.

so you reckon I am chipped but there is a lost of power somewhere? What is the quickest way to check for leaks?

Get someone to do a pressure test on the system mate to be honest is the best way. There are methods of doing it yourself, but I would get it properly checked out.

As a matter of course, check the PCV hose - this is a common point of failure!

Thanks. Can you give a bit more detail on which hose and a recommended place / link to it?
