Is there any danger driving through puddles with a front mount?
Only if there's a great big hole in it!
I laughed very hard at this reply!!!! Westy you champ!
only if you have routed your intake airfeed down at the same level...
lol, but if water goes though the fins does it sit in the bottom of the core or am i having a blonde moment...
Defo a blonde moment lol
technically, driving through a big cuddle will help cool your FMIC down further if you're on the beans, although the thermal shock to the rest of the system will most likely do more harm
It's a sealed unit mate otherwise you'd have the mother of all boost leaks!
you are bleached to a cinder blonde dude...
Air going into the engine lives INSIDE the fmic.. air/water passing thru the OUTSIDE of the fmic is OUTSIDE
Anybody know where sells paroxide?
Brings a whole new meaning to water cooled I would think!
This is along the lines of:
"poured water and sand into my intake to port the cylinder head, now the engine won't start"
Made my evening, thank you!
Everyone had a giggle? Good I'm going to sit facing the corner now question answerd
Lol Dont worry about it were not all experts and know everything that's why we come on here and ask.
