Had a massive fail today, with the tyre on my Porsche wheels fouling on my airride struts. They were 9 inch wide with et 44.

I put on 8 inch wide genuine s3 wheels with et52 and they are now right up against the strut. I have a feeling that this is due to the high offset and width of the wheel.

Can anyone please tell me the correct offsets i should be looking for for my a3, or suitable offsets for my car on non standard wheels.

    Cheers

So they shouldn't be fouling on the strut then, should they? Anyone know why they would be? Mailed you about this on edition n8

Rayvern, (which I have been hearing more and more stories about) But think its firestone bags. They are twin donut type. I believe the kit was fitted by the previous owner though...

I know :S. Wierd. Can the struts be adjusted in position in any way? Steering and everything was straight before this happened
