A: Yes. Shell Diesel Extra can be mixed with all other Diesel fuels without causing any damage to your engine. However the full benefits of Shell Diesel Extra will not be achieved if mixed with other Diesel fuels. To achieve the greatest benefit, refuel with Shell Diesel Extra every time.
Q. Can newer Diesel vehicles use Shell Diesel Extra?
A. Yes. The Shell Diesel Extra formulation contains a powerful detergent, which is designed to help clean up and control the harmful fuel system deposits that can build up on the precision fuel injection equipment found in modern diesel cars. A. No. Initially it will only be available at selected service stations around 60% of our network, in Scotland, the north of England and part of the South East of England. All service stations that stock Shell Diesel Extra will advertise its availability clearly to our customers.

A: Shell Diesel Extra is a unique fuel requiring specialist logistics equipment to make it available for delivery; and this equipment is not as yet in place nationally. We are, however, planning to extend distribution to remaining parts of the UK as soon as it is possible to do so.
