Shaft play

in the turbo which is normal.....
up and down play or side to side play?
i know ones normal and ones bad but cant rember which way round!

how can u tell witch is witch depending on how your holding the turbo i think as ure looking at the fins holding the shaft you should get a little bit of movement up down right left. but not get push or pull movement if you get what i mean??

yer i get wat u mean. i guess its manifold facing down like its mounted on the car

Side to side mate, it should have a little ( 1/2 mm to 1mm ) movement there.
