Service indicator.

My service indicator light is on and it won't reset. I've never had a problem before but this time I can't reset it via the dash buttons. I retrofitted DIS and cruise a couple of months ago, I don't know if this has anything to do with it.
Any ideas???

i had same problem with mine after full service and timeinng belt few days later it sorted itself out i had it scan and allsorts in the mean time but jus wouldn't re set then it jus sorted itself out

No, if I had VCDS, I wouldn't be asking advice mate. I know that's probably the only way to get it sorted now though.

I had mine reset via vcds, and now its blank, ie showing ---- until next service. So one problem solved and another to do!

It stays blank for about 300 miles or so after a reset.

I was asking because my A4 doesn't reset with the dash buttons either. Need to use vcds.
