S3 Short Shift

Hewwwo peoples....

I fitted my bargain ebay £0.99 short shift linkage last night and thought I would report back my findings...

The linkage I fitted is available on ebay for about £45 plus postage. I was lucky and found one someone was selling, brand new in a sealed package, and won it for 99p. Shibby.

Anyway, easy to fit, and the gear throw length is adjustable which is a feature I really like.

Naturally I have set it on the shortest possible throw. It is about the length of a gnat's **** from 1st to 2nd.

Feels weird to start with but I like it - nice and smooth too.

Well recommended.

Can you post link to other posted on Ebay. Sounds like a good mod, had it on my 130i and liked it a lot. Are they easy to fit???
