S-Line to S3 rear diffuser exhaust cut out

ok... I'm new and please don't shout at me, I've tried searching for an answer but I haven't found it. I know this subject has been gone over numerous times and I have found most of the info I've needed on the older threads but....

I have a 57 plate sportback s-line with the two part rear bumper. I want to swap the valence/diffuser for an S3 one but wondered whether the standard dual tailpipe on the 170 tdi will line up with the same cutout on the s3 diffuser or will it look off centre?

nope they wont line up mate.

Yeah it won't be centred, it will sticking out more to the right hand side.

But the standard exhaust would clear the s3 diffuser hole wouldn't it? Even if it was not on centre

yeap it would clear it.

ok i am just thinking until i have time to get the exhausts done i could probably live with it being off centre

No! but i rang up my audi parts dealer yesterday about the rs3 valance and rear splitter (i would imagine the exhaust opening is in the same place as on the s3 rear?) and the price seems reasonable so i just need to find an s line bumper
