Rear Wiper Getting Stuck

Hi all,

Tried doing a few searches but can't find much.

Basically,. my rear wiper seems to get stuck, usually in the half way position but not always and I have to free it by hand before it works again. It will work for a few wipes then do the same again. I'm thinking perhaps the wiper motor is becoming too weak to move the arm but wondered other peoples thoughts?

Also, the arm seems very loose. I've tightened the bolt up but the arm actually droops about 2 inches down the tailgate.

You'd need to strip down the motor to check why its getting stuck, but usually its a new wiper motor tbh in these cases.

Easy job to even replace the motor?

Very easy, hardest thing is prising the plastic off of the boot lid..

Agreed. Prying the plastic off takes time. Spray some lubricant on it first maybe. May even be too much friction from blade or maybe just needs a new motor.
