Hi guys - I have an 2008 A4 2.0 TDI S-Line and I get intermittent loud vibration sound coming from the boot area when I only travel on the motorway. I have done a visual check underneath the rear of the car, checked the fittings on the battery/spare wheel but nothing seems obvious where the vibration is coming from.
The vibration sounds like a piece of metal rubbing/vibrating violently but disappears after a few seconds or when I reduce my speed slightly.
Any ideas what might be causing this or what I should additionally check?
