very nice .
looks slick YT. what exhaust have you got doesnt look standard tips?
got my cupra r splitter on (finaly)
Cheers Bean, you're correct, it's a home made tailpipes concoction, standard exhaust with the pea shooter tail pipes chopped off and standard Audi TT 3.2 tips welded on. It's how Audi should have had them coming out of the factory to be fair..
Same as mine
2 Quick pics' The car is Filthy going to clean tomorrow and take some proper pictures.
Today fitted CV boot. Fitted tyres and balanced and fitted wheels. Replaced Control Arm.
yes YT. i definatly agree, id like a milltek system soon and they offer a 90mm tip or 100mm as far as im aware, think ill go for the 90mm some tips can look toooo big for the bumper cuts
Seen as though the weather is all over the place today never went far to take a few pictures.
Just a few better ones of the suspension and wheels fitted to give you a better idea of how it sits etc .
Paul - lovely looking motor, love the stance.
Many thanks. next step get this Votex front and GMBH rear on and laminX the headlights. then it will be matching roof bars
looks great paul. what susspension setup are you running, sits nice
Its on AP coilovers. And the ride is excellent. beleive it or not like stock but alittle firmer which is nice. very very happy. Highly recomended
what size are your wheels? and how low is it set? sitting just nice
Mine on new rims...
19" reps on standard sports suspension.
Will this be one to watch, like you ibiza?
lol, nah i cant see it. More just OEM+.
I do about 20-25k a year in this so it needs to be a nice place to be in. I think i'll ditch the 19's tho if my mpg is hit, unless i get it mapped to balance out the fuel economy. lol.
Looks sweet that Phil, very nice.
let me know if you want to sell the 19's
Here is my old A4 with over 200,000 miles on the clock
And this is my new A4 I bought dirt cheap and is my new project
18'' Wheels unsure on drop
Ive noticed that the wheels look like they are hidden under the the arches abit do you know if i could space them out abit and if so by how much
Yes you can buy spacers (5x112) - someone like DPM Performance for example.
You need to establish the offset (ET) of the wheels you have - standard A4 offset tends to be in the region of ET43, so fitting spacers will lower the offset, ie 8mm spacers =ET35. Unless you're after a specific look ET35 is a good balance to aim for.
mines ET36 8.5 J all around
Happy happy happy!!! Managed to salvage the tips off a 2.(5/9 I think) a6 the exhaust was scrap for next to nothing, £1000 worth of exhaust going to scrap heaven - two meaty tips. Will get pics as soon as they're on!!
sweet, it will transform the rear!
Yeh can't wait, just hope they're easy to fit
Pic from Cumbria Vag today
Pabs that looks lovely, do you have the 9.5" wide rims all round?
That looks fresh Pabs
Cheers fellas, they are 9.5 rears and 8.5 fronts et 35 all round
Looking sweet pabs
Here is a sneaky pic, finally started to install the custom red and black leather interior i bought off Az last year, only managed to fit the rear seats and 1 door rear door card (they are a right pain to do with out destroying all the clips), looks good so far
One more pic from sunday at Cumbria Vag,
Pabs the interior looks top mate. Hows the front seats looking?
not in yet gonna mate try and get at least one in tomorrow night and the rest of the door cards, when its all in i will get some pics up, i want the car finished for aitp
Pabs do you have any trouble with speed bumps? How low are you?
No idea how low it is I just kept doing it till it sat right and didn't catch. No trouble with speed bumps I do get a slight rub if there are people in the back and I'm on a roundabout but apart from that it's all good. Might drop it more when I buy my next set of wheels. Did you decide on your exhaust yet??
