Possible TTS part exchange

Hi guys, new member, first post. Happy new year!

Been looking at tt's recently, tried a couple. I have spotted a black 2008 plate TTS for sale, it's up for £13,000, 66k on the clock. It has part service history and the guy is willing to px with my civic type r ep3 plus cash. Does this sound too good to be true?! I'd appreciate any feedback on this.

Depends how much cash you'll need to hand over as well as the EP3 Type R's seem to be changing hands for as little as 2k now (depending on age, condition etc). Don't forget to HPi as it's very possible the car will have finance on it.

Thanks for the advice, it's ok now he was all the way up in Birmingham (I'm in Brighton) and he wouldn't meet half way so I said no thanks! Still on the look out for a TTS or s3!
