New toy just arrived- Sirf 3 Gps reciever

My Globelsat BT-338 just got delivered /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/groovy.gif

(for the non-gadget freaks, its a gps reciever with the latest Sirf 3 technology which is much improved over the old models)

Gonna test it with TomTomMobile 5 on my nokia once charged up.

If it doesn't recognise it set it up as a non TomTom cabled NMEA at 4800 baud rate after manually pairing it with your phone

Are there any differences on the mobile version Yaseen as opposed to Pocket PC

Not sure as not used the others- aside from the obvious ie smaller screen ( but do know TomTom delayed latest Navigator and re-wrote it so the Go, mobile and PDA all share software- so its cheap to make. My GB map is 100MB+ and it uses same POI`s )

Would prefer a huge screen but like it as its on my 7610 phone- the bt-338 is bluetooth and both fit into 1 pocket so can use in and out of car. Think I read on here JOJO has Route 66 on his mobile which he liked but ages ago so could be wrong.

Sounds the same as the PPC then, my GB map is 100MB.
