Your choice in a Le Mans was well chosen if I must say although I'm biased ;)

Nice motor. Some classics in there! .... 'Vehicles with Special Upgrade Measures' ?!

After living with mine for 2 years the best / most useful options in my opinion:
Full Parking front & rear with camera - superb at night and in cr@p weather.
    Heated seats
Speech Detection System and Bluetooth (operating phone with no hands - should be the law)
    Sat Nav
Bose (Planet Rock = the dogs)

    Most unused:
    Drivers seat memory
    Folding mirrors

    Most missed (ie, havent got)
Heated steering wheel (why isn't that more common in the UK?
Sun roof (why does having climate mean I don't need a sun roof)

Front and rear sensors are a must on these cars, so bloody big!

I like having the auto wipers/lights, and all auto dimming mirrors too. Guess I'm just lazy!
I actually use the memory seats quite a lot. And always use the folding mirrors all the time.

    Hi

I might be wrong about this and the grill may have been changed in the face lift, but i thought the Le Mans grill had emphasis on the verticals, here is a pic of mine, i would check if the grill has been changed and why,

Ok my bad it looks like the grill was changed on the facelift ....

I think on facelift cars they change licence plate holder to make grill look better.... a quick search in Auto trader show all facelift cars are like that...

hi drmole, thats an amazing car, and its from a firm just down the road from us.

Sorry to hijack the post, but I have a 58/2009 a6 facelift - however having owned this for a few years i'm thinking of new wheels (like yours) and suspension (audi sports) - I want to retain the OEM look as much as possible, any advise on part numbers etc or excellent oem alternatives to get the same stance as yours

    Hi,

I've just bought an A6 Allroad (2010 plate) and I am wondering if I can replace the headlights for the ones with the LED brows like the ones on your motor? Are they a direct replacement?

    Cheers
