Mobile connection

I have just bought an A8 2005 (4E pre facelift). IT is great, but no telephone and not able to connect phone via bluetooth. There is preparation for phone below armrest, but where do I find the right part to be able to manage a phone via MMI?

That looks like the TB prep, when you press the telephone button what message do you get?

Your telephone may not be attached or connected properly

That the standard message of a Audi BT module, someone could have disabled BT on the module and just used a cradle. You would need access to VCDS to see what is going on with the module. If you scan for BT connections you should find Audi UHV XXXX XXXX=random numbers

Where are you based as their could be a member local to you.
