Mapped 140hp engines... 0-60mph / 0-100km/h times

So I have been wondering how fast these engines truly are.

Would be nice if you guys would post pic proofs and write what mods you have done to increase the performance.

This is mine. Only mod is 433Nm / 190hp but I have clutch issues (it is slipping a lot above 2.5k rpm).

I have a Audi a3 2.0 tdi 140 with a map probs around 170/175 bhp the 0-60 figure is crap really and yours is faster than mine if it's 190 lol what's mods u have?

You must have a very poorly clutch. My Passat 1.9 130TDI estate mapped to 207bhp and 345Lb/ft would do the 1/4 mile at Santa Pod or GTI international in low 15's at around 92mph with a best of 14.95 93mph.
0-60 times are very hit and miss and the phone apps can be quite inaccurate.
I would invest in a Sachs Organic clutch if I was you.

The 1/4 mile time is not correct on my photo due to the fact that I started braking before getting there as you can see. I have a friend's AVF engine 1.9tdi passat 130 map which is 209hp/455Nm if you want me to send to you so you can compare it to yours.

And yeah, my clutch has never been changed and the car is at 280000km (divide by 1.6 for miles). I am looking at buying Sachs Performance clutch that has 800Nm limit at the moment

I don't have my passat any more sold it and bought the Audi. Your friends car sound very similar to mine, virtually the same power and torque.
Which 240mm Sachs performance clutch is good for 800Nm, and why would you need 800Nm, my mapped 3.0 TDI only makes 720Nm. If the car is a daily driver I wouldn't bother with a paddle clutch they are not very good.

According to the manufacturers figures a 170bhp A3 gets to 60 in around 7.8 seconds. And a 140bhp car in around 9 seconds.
Are you sure your car is 190bhp? Will hopefully be better when you sort the clutch.

Positive about the HP and torque mate, but clutch slips a lot, very noticable.

I start from 0km/h (can be seen at 0:00 if video is paused).

Most basic explanation is that my SVBL is 2500 and max torque in TL 433Nm. That gets BKD to 190hp in my case

Unfortunately I don't know what SVBL and TL mean

SVBL is Single Value Boost Limiter and TL is Torque Limiter.

Setting a limiter doesn't automatically give you 433Nm. What dyno was it run on?
