"Just got new genuine porsche wheels what else do i need"

a Porsche

was expecting that, actually i meant, what spacers will i need, what size tyres these were given to me in return for a favour i did, basically i want to Know :what spacers ill need
:what tyre size will fit them
:what hub adapters ill need.

And where to get all these from.

Cheers again guys

225/40/18 for the fronts, but those rears look fooking massive 285 are they?

dunno really for genuines i would imagine over £1000,sorry dude been after these wheels for yonks

Doing a quick dig for you can't find the specific part numbers you gave nevertheless

996 362 142 32 et45mm 295/30/18
996 362 136 04 et50mm 225/40/18

So i doubt you can get the rears on for sure plus if you did and you had to space out the front, i gather you would need 70mm of spacers which would then **** your car up something chronic

If the fronts are ET50 then you would need 15-20mm spacers depending on if they are 8.5 or 8 wide. As for the rears they are gonna be way too to wide, what you really need is another pair of fronts to use on the rear of yours.

Should have mentioned of course that you will actually need hub adaptors from 5x100 to the porsche fitment of 5x130. H&R do these in the sort of width you will require to space the wheels out by (circa 20mm).

so would the rears not fit at all, surley there is some way of fitting them if not flea bay it is.lol.....dpm any suggestions or glen(ess three)

just checked the backs of the wheels and the fronts are 8.5j et40 and rears are 12j et45

sell the rears and have 4 fronts!! no chance them rears fitting bein 12inch plus the adapters which are 20mm minimum for the bolts to fit!! i have 8j rear with 20mm spacers (et35) and its near the edge of the arch!!!

dunno where to get 2more fronts from, and how much would i gte for the rears?

I dont want to state the obvious....but Im going to anyway.......
Should have bought 4 fronts as mentioned earlier, the rears definately wont fit!!

All you need is some stud adaptors and 2 new rear wings. Not a massive job I would have thought

as i said didnt buy got given them as a return favour.sell them it is then dunno how much they would go for

12" rears are too wide, 10.5" wide is max on an S3 methinks, and even then, you will need 225 or 255 section tyres with a streeeetched look to clear the rear arches under load, either get a couple more fronts of scrap the idea dude.

My favourite wheels on a A3/s3, look soo good.. congrats.

Wouldnt you be up for some fabrication, rear arch work? how much out are they... they would look amazing on your car if you got them to fit, imagine the stance from the back it would look soo tough...every1 runs reps(no offence chaps)... u got some genuwins.. Make them fit! lol.

yeah i understand what your saying they would look awesome, but financially its probably best to sell, god knows how much i would have to spend to get arches sorted spacers adapters tyres tracking etc,i am really gutted but probably will have to sell unless a suibtable and reasonably cheap option comes around, jojo fancy a swap.lol.

you should get some money for them through the porsche classifieds, sell them as singles and get some 9j's

mate exactly what me and my old man were just discussing, sell the rears get some h&r spacers and get 2more fronts as everyone has suggested, cant let these beautiful wheels go.any ideas what good porsche forums i could sell these on

Shame, but understandable. Make sure you get some pix up when you do get them on.

so how much should i sell just the rears for as i might hold out and wait to get two more fronts

Sell them as a set they will fetch more then buy what you want as singles or pairs, or do a deal with a Porsche breaker such as Porsche-apart or Jasmine.

im pretty sure you can get these wheels with a 10" rear, which will go on no prob with a stretched tyre and looks awesome!!

josh

cheers for the help guys. neil.c do you know where jasmine or porsche apart are located or have any contact info on them, cheers again

yeah but im at work and and the pc in the workshop wont let me use search sites, for porn reasons etc, they dont call us grease monkeys for nothing you know.lol.cheers mate.....damnit just checked they are in lancashire im in Reading, anyone no of any other companys like those down south.

12" REAR?!!! JEEEEESUS! Even the craziest of euro modding guys would fit 12's!! LOL.

Dan just put the complete set on Edition38 im sure they'll sell easy.

Some-one on there just put a set of 11.5 Wide rears on a MKIV.

Give it a try...

J

they are on edition 38 already mate as a complete set,for £800 surely they should fetch that as porsche sell them for £2500 brand new these have covered about 1000 miles i have been told.would love to fit them but its just gonna be too much of a ball ache to get the rears to fit so im trying to get rid of these and get another set with 8-10 inch rears,or flog the rears and get another set of fronts which i cant see happening tbh.

TBH mate they are soo mad i dont think ull get 800 for them on edition. ive seen super wide sets like yours that are mirror polished went down to £400. better off trying ebay or porsche forums and aim for porsche owners.

josh

I still stand with my comment, make them fit, it will look awesome and a 1 off (correct me if im wrong)..

Get intouch with the guy that Jason is talking about who put it on the MKIV, same chassis, PCD, Offset, and i dont think the arches are as wide as your S3... see how hard it actually was and how much it costs..

"Youuu can doo eeet!!"

If it really does take alot of effort/time/money then yeah sell off the rears, but good luck finding another set or another genuwine set of fronts that are in as good condition, of those that you already have sitting at home crying to go on your motor.

Good luck either way but nothing is impossible.
