Jerks and Shakes

Hi,

I got a mint 1.6 that had a service about 4 months ago but the car feels a little jerky at times while accelorating and a little shakey while idling.....Someone told me I need to change my fuel filter...just wanted to get some opinions on this....

The best thing to do would be get VAGcom on it, if you can wait untill 19th August come the the Audi meet and use my VAGcom.

My advice would be to change the basic, cheap things first. Air filter, spark plugs and the like.

I second that motion.

check the VAC line off the manifold. These get blocked or go brittle and snap on 1.6's and cause rubbish running.
