Hex-can cable?

I was going to buy a Hex-can cable for my 2008 A6 and my wife's 2009 A3 but can't find any from the authorised suppliers, are these no longer available? Looks like I can only get Hex-V2 for the same price range. Now but it will only work on 3 or 10 vin numbers depending on what price you pay.

Looks that way pal... Try for second hand one if you need the hex-can. Hex-net is the new technology, but is expensive.

As of 2017, Ross-Tech have retired the HEX-USB and Micro-CAN interfaces and now offer the HEX-V2® and HEX-NET®

Aye, I was thinking this. Had a look into it and think I will just go with the new cable. Tried getting in touch with NHN but not had anything back from him.

I was more concerned that if I went with the 3 vin version that would be it but I see you can pay and take it to 10 if needed.
