Engine fan

Everytime I use the car recently especially short journeys the fan kicks in once I turn the ignition off.
The funny thing is the car usually has not even reached 90 on the temp gauge when it happens

I've had the car 12 months now and don't recall the fan ever running unless I've been giving it some welly!!


Anybody got any suggestions?

Sounds like the temperature sensor on the fan has gone u/s. If you do a search you will find lots of threads on the subject.
