Drove into town this morning no problem, got back into mjy 3.2 a couple of hours later and my emissions control systems light is on yellow. Booked in for diagnostics tomorrow afternoon - just what I need now as I have a load of miles to do at this time of year. They say it could be anything from a reset bto a probe - great more money now the car is 3.5 yrs.

The car threw up this fault code 18032 p1624 008 (which the stealer had never seen before) plus one about a glow plug - can anyone shed anymore information on this. Bit confused as I have petrol car and I thought no glow plugs. Fault cleared on the way home.

Ive had this problem a couple of times on mine now and it was a faulty probe(x 2) and also the ACF Valve & filter (active charcoal filter) cost in total for both times was roughly £600...on the subject though I now have my car serviced by a specialist and he told me that most af the time when the probes play up its due to lack of heat ie people driving a low revs or short journeys,or using `cheap fuel`(not saying you do any of these) Hope you get it sorted intime for xmas mate :icon_thumright:

Taking the car for a long drive today so it can get hot. Only use proper named petrol and it does the odd short trip ut mainly 50 - 100mile trips.
