Dodgy question dump valve lol

Hi today I put a atmospheric dump valve that has a adjustable spring rate I know what people are going to say lol but to me it feels quicker the car has been remaped 1.8t apu is it really going to cause a issue running with one?

To elaborate, you're dumping metered air causing the fuel trims to go squiffy.

I have an HKS on mine and it's coming off as it causes problems

OK fair enough I am remaped to 190 will the original Bosch one do

Original recirc valve is quite fine if it's in good nick.

Just tested my old dump valve by pushing the bottom in a placing my finger over the top it does nothing just returns back

What do people think brand new genuine vw dump valve or new cheap after market one

Genuine 710N from Audi for about 30 quid. Valve should just return as the piston is spring loaded, as long as it seals OK

All the videos I have seen online is saying if it returns after putting your finger over it then it's knackered ?

Think we may be talking cross purposes here. Are you pushing the piston up manually and letting it return or pushing the piston upland blocking the vacuum and outlet ports?

Yes pushing up and blocking both ports and it's just returning
