Do factory xenons lose light after a few years? or is different manufacturers headlamps that make a difference.
i was in a brandnew mercedes e class and the headlamps brightness and reach was way better than my 2011 audi a5.

If i replaced the oem bulbs would that make a difference?

Yes. Much like any bulb they lose effectiveness although xenons do last longer. I replaced them on my old car which was on 65,000 miles and noticed a big difference. Didn't need to change the ballast, just the bulb. Gives you a choice of temperature too

That seems very expensive. You'll get them a lot cheaper than that as long as you get aftermarket ones

probably........but rather have a good brand, also not buying off ebay...to many fakes.
