Clutch switch

Can anybody tell me if the mk2 tts has an issue with the clutch switch causing a problem with the revs not dropping quick enough when changing gears?I have read a lot about the mk1 having this problem just wondering if mk2 suffers the same problem?

Had exactly this on my B7 A4. Ordered a second hand part on line and fitted it myself

Yep. It was a while ago, no issues since

Ok so I have had all the drivers side dash out to have a look at the clutch switch and found that the mk2 tts obviously doesn't have one or if it does it's not in the drivers side footwell any ideas anybody?

No clutch switch on a mk2 mate

Yes I found out it didn't have one in the footwell but it has got one around the clutch master cylinder apparently but I don't think this is anything to do with the issue I am having.
