Buzzer not working for lights left on

Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction. Flat battery due to lights left on. Got her running again but have noticed the buzzer has stopped working that warns you they are left on, it was definitely working recently, can is an a6 c5 avant.. Thanks.

It's most likely that it's an issue with the drivers door lock mechanism. If you open the drivers door and and the door isn't shown as open on the dashboard display, the lock mechanism may require replacing.

Got new lock, fitted which was a bit of a fiddle but all good. Thanks

Did you have to remove the window frame or can it be done without ? I have this to tackle next week.

Yes, I don't think you'd do it without removing it. Its quite straight forward to do.

Finally got round to doing mine today. You were right , easy task. Most difficult part was "adjusting" the pattern part to get correct clearance in the door.
