Hi all,
Those of you who have been here some time may remember my last a4 loon
So I'm back... Still red. Still a 190 ...
But this time a quattro avant..
Love being back in a b6 and the torsen awd adds to the experience.
I am going to be looking to play with the suspension as the back heavy stock look on these REALLY bugs the hell out of me... Now my old loon was on weitec coilovers and 19" omanyt reps.. didn't have any rubbing being a decent drop but didn't carry alot.. if i remember correctly these cars have good sized wheel arches!
The avant is to be used as a practical car .. i want it set up to look purposeful but still be just that also.. and currently coilovers are not an option with my house build ongoing ..
So... After research I am looking into
A- b5 perches and stock suspension
B- eibach sportlines
C- b5 perches and h&r springs
I'm looking for answers from those who run avant's in particular with a decent load in the boot and maybe people in the back rather than 'no it doesn't rub when only the driver is in' if possible...
Much appreciated
