2 questions

Hi All,

I have 2 questions for you that i'm hoping to get some advice on. I've a 03 1.9 TDI 130BHP A4 Sport.
Question 1.....
There's some really oily looking finger/hand prints on the bonnet from when i got the car serviced. I've washed the car numerous times but can't get rid of the prints. It's very annoying and looks bad on the black paintwork. Can anyone recommend a product or a way of getting rid of these marks?

Question 2....
It's very hard to lift the boot and when closing it it slams shut. The gas struts are obviously gone but has anyone here replaced them on a saloon? If so, how did you go about it?

id try a tar remover on the had prints mate autoglym is a good one should shift it.
as for the boot struts there is a small black clip on the end that looks like a cover this is the spring clip you need to lift this but (not remove it) with a screwdriver and then it should pull off the ball joint.

T-CUT will shift the hand prints also i would think

I'll give that tar remover a go first i think. I don't like using T-Cut really.
Must go order some of those boot struts and get that sorted first.
