First off Hi everyone im new to the forum I have looked on some bits before and decided to finally join
I was hoping someone could help me out.
I have an Audi A4 2.0 FSI Sport 2004 B6.
Now when I brought it had a fair few problems one being a new engine needed so I decided to get a replacement used engine with what they told me had 60k on. So that was fitted back in January I think it was. Various other things were changed such as coil packs etc.
Now I have been experiencing this first problem pretty much since the new engine was fitted took it back to the garage but they are useless to say it nicely and they wont ever see my car again let alone touch it. Thats another story.
Basically sometimes my car will start to judder horribly and other times it is not so bad being very minor but either way it does it. Sometimes I can actually get out of the car and the car will be shaking. It is most noticeable when idling and there is a tiny bit of movement on the needle but it very minor and not like you would see on a missfire. Whilst idling if you put the clutch in it makes no difference. On the odd occasion the car will start and the rev needle will be in limbo land as if the car wants to die or just start to pick up you can hear the car sound as if its just about to die but it will stay like that for as long as the car will tick over unless the accelerator is tapped. I would really like to get to the bottom of this as its driving me mad.
I have taken it too a few garages that cannot find the problem and I have now been told to take it to Audi but to be honest I was really hoping not to do that when the problem is unknown as I just dont have the cash for what they charge.
The second problem is a not as old. The car when locked would randomly start beeping and all lights flashing sometimes I could unlock the car and relock without any problems other times it would stop and start to beep a few minutes after locking it again. Then that suddenly stopped. Then after a few months it started again but was not so bad only on random occasions it would do it. Im pretty sure that I disabled the interior motion detectors a few times and the problem still happened.
Any help would be appreciated.
