Audi A3 8L1 (1999) 1.6 Knob Heaters Upgrade To LCD Climate Control? - Help

Hello everyone!

Just a quick question, I have a Audi A3 8L1 (1999) 1.6 and has the knob heaters, I believe they're called HVAC? And was wondering if it's simple enough to pull that one out and upgrade to a LCD climate control screen, just a simple swap?

My car doesn't have air conditioning or anything like that.

If it is possible, what needs to be done? etc.

Sorry dude... its a little more 'involved' than that... the digital jobber is climate control for aircon equipped cars... not only are you missing the aircon hardware but you are also missing all the control systems for the climate control to work... it uses servo motors and sensors which the std heater setup doesn't have..
