are a4 b6 door mirrors same as a3 a6??

hi guys just noticed my drivers mirror has been hit and casing is loose but also part of the bottom is falling off so gonna have to replace the whole mirror unit,are a3 and a6 units the same as a4 b6s as they look it apart from maybe wiring loom which i could swap over?

I believe the A3 8P mirrors (without indicators) are the same but the A6 are different - somebody else may be able to confirm this though

Can confirm that the A3 8P mirror without indicator is the same as I got a set of heated from the scrappies for only a fiver for my B6

are the wiring looms eactly the same too?

So if your prepared to do the wiring you could fit A3 8P ( with indicators ) ??

I don't know about the housing but the mirror glass fitted.
